Alaric pushed his way to the front of the crowd and was just able to make it into the theater before they stopped admitting people. He found a seat and waited for the show. He had been waiting for a long time, as had the rest of London, most of which seemed to be in attendance here tonight. The theater rumbled with noise and exitement and Alaric looked down at his playbill. "The Great Oowhemote, For One Night Only, Performs Her Outstanding and Famous Illusion: The Transported Albino!!!" He had heard of this illusion, so daring and original that no other illusionist could figure it out. The house lights dimmed and the theater went quiet.
The show progressed like any other show until finally two doors were wheeled onstage. Alaric leaned forward as the doors were set up a good thirty feet apart. Oowhemote stepped through one door and closed it behind her, showing that there was no way someone could be hiding in some hidden compartment. She walked to the other door as her assistant walked back through the first door leaving it open. Oowhomote went through the second door tossing her hat back to the first, then she slammed the door behind her and was gone. Her dissapearance was followed by a short scream and a thud then a loud clamour beneath the stage like a stack of pots and pans falling to the ground. In the meantime Oowhote had reamerged from the first door! She groped in the air, missing the hat by a mile. Somewhere between the two doors she'd changed her shirt into a God is Awesome! t-shirt. She squinted at the audience and said 'csuse me and the crowd leapt to it's feet with applause. Bravo bravo! shrieked Alaric. He'd never seen anything like it.

So finally, one year later Cirala, Enneisoj, Oowemod, and Ettevy arrive at Alaric's palace only to find it in ruins. His empire has fallen, his world destroyed. Around them people loot and rob and chaos rules the streets.

I have an officemate now so my laughing is looked at peculiarly.
Then he stood there picking his nose. That's gross, Oohwmemote said and Cirala flicked a booger at her. It hit her in the eyeball and she shrieked in pain and doubled over. RALPH!!!!!said Enneisoj said and prjectile vomited all over Ettevy. Ettevy stood there blinking and then said, 'scuse me.
